Portland Trail Blazers at Phoenix Suns: Game preview, time, TV channel, how to watch free live stream online
The Portland Trail Blazers will catch a bit of a break Wednesday night when they play at Phoenix.
The Suns will be without shooting guard Devin Booker (health and safety protocols) and point guard Chris Paul (thumb fracture).
That news will certainly give the Blazers a better chance of stealing an upset. However, Cameron Payne has proven to be a very capable replacement point guard and the absence of Booker will only free up shots for Cameron Johnson and Mikal Bridges.
Johnson averages 12.3 points per game and is shooting 43.2% on threes. Bridges averages 13.4 points while shooting 53.3% from the field and 35.8% on threes.
Even with both injuries, the Suns are 11-point favorites. And that makes sense given that the Blazers still have major holes inside at center and power forward with Jusuf Nurkic and Justise Winslow out.
The Blazers enter tonight tied with New Orleans (25-36) for 10th in the Western Conference standings. The Pelicans host Sacramento (23-40) Wednesday night.
