Former Oregon State cornerback Jojo Forest plans a transfer to Hawaii
Former Oregon State cornerback Jojo Forest has a new home, as the third-year freshman committed to Hawaii.
Forest put his name into the transfer portal last fall. The 5-foot-10 Southern California native played only one season for OSU.
As a true freshman in 2019, Forest played in 10 games and started twice, recording 25 tackles. In 2020, Forest opted out of the season because of COVID concerns. He never appeared in a practice or game after the 2019 season.
Hawaii recently hired a new coach in Timmy Chang, who replaces Todd Graham. Forest is the second OSU transfer on Hawaii’s 2022 roster, as he’ll join former Beaver linebacker Isaiah Tufaga.
